1. Stitch is an extra-terrestrial alien
Stitch is a blue dog-like alien genetic creation standing between 3 and 3.5 feet tall, weighs between 50 and 55 lb and strongly resembles a hyena-like demon. In his alien form, he has three spines on his back, two antennae on his head, and an extra pair of arms. However, he is able to retract all of these features to look more like a dog while on Earth and used this to become Lilo's "pet".
2. Stitch wasn't his original name
Before he met Lilo, he was simply known as "Experiment 626". Stitch was merely the latest in a long of line of genetically engineered creatures developed by Dr. Jumba Jookiba in his lab at the Galaxy Defense Industries.
3. Stitch’s birthday is 26th June
Stitch was created in the lab at Galaxy Defense Industries on 26th June 2002 and is semi-immortal and cannot age.
4. Stitch has amazing powers and abilities.
While explaining his creation to the Galactic Council early on in Lilo & Stitch, Dr. Jumba gives the following rundown of Stitch's powers: "He is bulletproof, fireproof, shockproof, and can think faster than any supercomputer. He can see in the dark and can move objects 3,000 times his size.
5. Lilo thought Stitch was a dog
Stitch’s mischevious behavour is what first endeared him to Lilo, and she adopted him as her pet dog from the dog-rescue kennel and nicknamed him Kenny.
6. Stitch has a favorite food
Cake of any description is Stitch’s favorite food, however he is allergic to sauerkraut.
7. Stitch is a polyglot
Nothing to do with parrots, a polyglot is someone who can speak many languages. Stitch can converse fluently in over twenty different languages, but prefers Tantalog (his native language). His favourite phrases in English are "Aloha!" "Also cute and fluffy!" "Nobody gets left behind." "I like fluffy!"
8. Stitch has a girlfriend
Originally known as 'Experient 624' Angel was also developed by Dr. Jumba Jookiba. Stitch fell in love with Angel as soon as he met her. Besides being Stitch's 'boojiboo', Angel is known for her unique ability to turn people and experiments from good to evil by singing a special siren song.
9. Stitch is unable to swim
Stitch has a very dense molecular structure, which causes him to sink and therefore his worst fear is water. Stitch’s favourite toy is Lilo’s homemade rag doll called Scrump.
10. Stitch is a talented performer
Stitch proved what a talented and accomplished performer he is when he wowed all the local people whilst dressing up as Elvis Presley and playing ‘Devil in Disguise’ on the ukulele.
